  1. Open a New Project: Select "Create a new project with a music loop."
  2. Drag a Drum Loop: From the library, find a drum loop (e.g., "Rock Beat 120bpm") and drag it onto track 1.
  3. Add a Bass: Create a new Instrument track. Load the "Acoustica Bass" virtual instrument. Draw a simple MIDI bassline using the piano roll editor.
  4. Record a Guitar or Vocal: Arm a new Audio track. Click the red record button. Play or sing. Mixcraft automatically creates takes so you can comp the best parts.
  5. Apply Effects: Open the mixer view. Add "iZotope Mastering Reverb" to your vocal track. Add "Classic Compressor" to the drum bus.
