Step 1: Recap the Theory from NCERT First
Do not jump directly to RS Aggarwal’s solved examples. Read the NCERT theory section slowly. RS Aggarwal is a problem bank, not a theory book. Week 2 — Matrices
Daily Session Structure (2 hours)
- 20 min: quick review of theory/definitions.
- 60 min: solved examples from that chapter (start guided → independent).
- 25 min: attempt 6–8 varied exercises (include one past-year/exam-style).
- 15 min: error review and flashcards for formulas.
Q1: Is RS Aggarwal enough for CBSE Class 12 Board Exams?
Answer: Almost, but not entirely. RS Aggarwal covers 95% of possible board patterns. However, CBSE has started introducing “Case Study Based Questions” and “Assertion-Reason Questions” which are better practiced from Oswaal or Educart sample papers. Use RS Aggarwal + 5 Sample Papers = 90+ marks.
