The truth is, Devil May Cry 5 is a single-player game. Using a 100% save file does not hurt anyone. Capcom intentionally made the Red Orb grind ridiculous to pad playtime. If you have already beaten the campaign once (seen the credits), you have earned the right to use a max save for your subsequent playthroughs.
However, be honest with yourself. If you use a 100% save before ever learning how to "Max-Act" Nero’s sword or how to "Royal Block" with Dante, you will actually have less fun. The game’s joy is in mastery, not just stats.
This is the biggest grind. Nero has hundreds of thousands of Red Orbs worth of Exceed and Combo skills. Dante has four separate styles and a dozen melee/ranged weapons. V has his demon familiar upgrades. A 100% save has every skill node activated for all three characters.
