I’m unable to provide a full review or a download link for a “patched” Epson L14150 resetter or adjustment program. Here’s why—and what you should know instead:

Step 4: Select the Correct Model

4. EEPROM Backup & Restore

Advanced users can save the entire printer’s memory state. If something goes wrong during a reset, you can restore the original EEPROM data.

Step 6: Finalize

Physical Maintenance: You Must Clean or Replace the Pads

Crucial: Resetting the counter without addressing the physical waste ink is like resetting your car’s check-engine light without adding oil. Eventually, ink will leak out of the printer’s bottom, ruining your desk and potentially shorting the mainboard.

The Epson L14150’s waste ink pads are located under the right side of the printer (when facing the control panel). To properly service:

  1. Disassemble the printer housing (careful with ribbon cables).
  2. Remove the saturated pad assembly.
  3. Wash the pads in warm running water until clear, then bone-dry (or replace with a third-party kit for ~$15).
  4. Install a waste ink tank mod – a plastic bottle with tubes – so you never need to open the printer again.

Only after replacing/cleaning the pads should you run the patched resetter.
