Blog post — ETS2 1.32 map mods updated

Where to Download (Safe & Updated)

  • Official sources only (avoid "mod hub" repacks):
    • ProMods: promods.net (free slow download or paid fast link)
    • RusMap: SCS forum thread (author: aldim@tor)
    • Southern Region: Truck-Sim.club (registration required)
  • Always verify the file date – genuine 1.32 versions were released between Q3 2018 and Q1 2019.

The Holy Trinity + 129

Let’s be honest: Most packs rely on ProMods (the gold standard), RusMap (the eastern beast), and RoExtended (the connector). But the magic of version 132 is the filler.

This update includes the obscure gems:

  • SFIG 0.7: Adds Corsica and Sardinia with photogrammetry that looks better than SCS vanilla.
  • Ireland Map: Finishes the Emerald Isle where ProMods left gaps.
  • Sud de France: Turns the vanilla French highways into a winding, chateau-filled nightmare (in the best way).

3. Southern Region Map 7.2.0 (for 1.32)

  • What it adds: Krasnodar Krai, Crimea, and parts of Georgia (Sochi, Novorossiysk).
  • 1.32 update: Rebuilt city of Anapa, new companies compatible with owned trailers, and fixed vegetation pop-in.
  • Caution: Heavy on FPS; recommended for PCs with 8+ GB RAM.

Why 1.32 Still Matters (Even in 2025)

While newer versions exist, 1.32 remains a beloved "gold standard" for mod stability. It balances modern features (owned trailers, liftable axles, random events) without the heavier performance demands of later updates. For players with mid-range PCs or curated mod lists, 1.32 is still the sweet spot.

    • This could have to do with the pathing policy as well. The default SATP rule is likely going to be using MRU (most recently used) pathing policy for new devices, which only uses one of the available paths. Ideally they would be using Round Robin, which has an IOPs limit setting. That setting is 1000 by default I believe (would need to double check that), meaning that it sends 1000 IOPs down path 1, then 1000 IOPs down path 2, etc. That’s why the pathing policy could be at play.

To your question, having one path down is causing this logging to occur. Yes, it’s total possible if that path that went down is using MRU or RR with an IOPs limit of 1000, that when it goes down you’ll hit that 16 second HB timeout before nmp switches over to the next path.
