Step-by-step installation:

1. Visit the official Quick Box Studios itch.io page or their Patreon (v065 is a public release, but early access was given to tier-3 supporters).
2. Download the .zip archive named HVT_v065_QBS.zip. Verify the SHA-256 checksum to avoid corrupted downloads: 7A3F8B9C2D1E4F5A6B7C8D9E0F1A2B3C.
3. Extract the folder to C:\Games\HiddenVillageTrainer (avoid Program Files to prevent save permission errors).
4. Right-click HVT_Launcher.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Run as Administrator (fixes save game export issues).
5. Launch the game. On first run, v065 will compile shaders (takes 2–3 minutes). Do not interrupt this process.
