Error 2: Error 10 (Device cannot start) – Prolific

• Cause: Windows 10 installed driver version 3.8+ which blackscreens clones.
• Fix: Manually roll back to Prolific Driver 3.2.0.0 (Use dpinst.exe from the driver folder).

3. Installation Steps

Step 1: Install the Software (Not the drivers yet)

1. Download a stable Ksuite version. For clones, Version 2.47 is the most stable on Windows 10 64-bit. Version 2.53 works but has more bugs.
2. Run Setup.exe as Administrator.
3. Choose English.
4. Install to C:\KSuite (avoid Program Files to prevent permission issues).
5. Do not launch the software yet. Do not plug in the device.
