The MT6833 flash tool is a useful software utility for flashing firmware on devices powered by the MediaTek MT6833 chipset. While it offers several features and applications, users should exercise caution and be aware of the potential risks when using the tool.


Step 2: Launch SP Flash Tool and Load the Scatter File

  1. Extract the SP Flash Tool ZIP to a folder (e.g., C:\MT6833_Flash\).
  2. Run flash_tool.exe as Administrator.
  3. Click the Scatter-loading button and navigate to your extracted firmware folder. Select the MT6833_Android_scatter.txt file.
  4. The partition table will populate. Do not change the default checkmarks unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Step 1: Install MediaTek USB Drivers (VCOM)

The PC must recognize the phone in BROM mode.

  1. Download and install MTK USB Drivers (version 1.2302 or newer).
  2. Disable Windows Driver Signature Enforcement (Shift + Restart -> Advanced Startup -> Disable driver signing).
  3. Once installed, connect your powered-off phone to the PC. It should appear as MediaTek USB Port (COM3) in Device Manager.
