Flashing with SP Flash Tool (MediaTek) — typical procedure
- Extract firmware and SP Flash Tool to folders with short paths (e.g., C:\SPFlash).
- Run SP Flash Tool as Administrator.
- Load scatter file: Click “Choose” next to “Scatter-loading File” and select the MTxxxx_scatter.txt from firmware.
- Select download mode:
- “Download Only” — safest to update system without wiping userdata.
