Typical Use Cases (Legitimate)

  • Data recovery from a hard-bricked Rockchip tablet with a broken screen.

5. Low-Level Technical Details

4. "Switch" Functionality

The tool includes a "Switch" feature that allows the user to force the device into different boot modes:

  • Normal Mode: Boots the device regularly.
  • Loader Mode: Used for flashing via the bootloader.
  • Mask ROM Mode: A low-level mode used when the bootloader is corrupted or erased, essential for deep-level recovery.

Known Limitations of V1.35

  • No support for A/B slot (seamless update) partitions on newer RK3566/RK3588 devices.
  • Does not work with dynamic partitions (super.img on Android 10+).
  • Sometimes fails if the device uses hardware-backed verification (AVB 2.0) on bootloader.
  • Requires Windows; Wine/Linux support is unstable.
