• RSLogix 5 will never receive new features.
• Security patches ended with v8.11.
• Rockwell support is now limited to “best effort” for TechConnect subscribers.

• For installation issues on modern systems, create a VM running an older supported Windows version and install RSLogix 5 and the matching RSLinx drivers there.
