Section 1: Getting Started – Unboxing Your Sunrise Fan

Before you consult any wiring diagram or button configuration, proper setup is crucial. Most Sunrise fan models fall into three categories: Standard Ceiling Fans, Tower/Pedestal Fans, and Bladeless Fans. While slight variations exist, the following checklist applies to almost all models.

Problem 1: Fan is completely dead (no light, no movement)

  • Check: Wall switch is ON? Circuit breaker not tripped?
  • Check: Pull chain switch is set to "High" (for non-remote models).
  • Solution: If neither works, inspect the receiver unit. A burnt receiver is often caused by a power surge.

Step 5: Attach Canopy

  • Slide canopy up to cover the bracket and wires.
  • Tighten securing screws.

Step 5: Installing the Light Kit (If applicable)

Most Sunrise ceiling fans come with an integrated LED light kit. Align the plug connector from the light kit to the switch housing and twist to lock. sunrise fan manual
