Software ((hot)): Xpro Webcam
XPro Webcam Software — Quick User Guide
Recording
- Go to Recording tab.
- Set output folder and file format (MP4/MKV recommended).
- Choose bitrate or quality preset.
- Click Record. Use hotkeys (configure in Settings) to start/stop.
Scenario D: The Content Creator (Recorded Video)
You want cinematic raw footage.
- Sharpness: Turn DOWN to 0. (Sharpening adds artificial halos. Do this in post-production instead).
- Color Depth: 24-bit True Color.
- HDR: ON.
- Field of View (FOV): Narrow (90 degrees) to reduce the "fisheye" effect.
File Management & Export
- Find recordings in the output folder specified in Recording settings.
- Use XPro’s Export or Trim tools to cut clips; otherwise use common editors (HandBrake, Shotcut).
3. HDR (High Dynamic Range) Toggle
Many XPro models support HDR via software activation. This ensures that if you have a bright window behind you, your face isn't cast into a deep shadow. The software lets you toggle HDR on/off and adjust the intensity of the local tonemapping. xpro webcam software
