While there isn't a permanent "universal" free activation code, EZVIZ offers several official ways to access their CloudPlay storage without an immediate paid subscription. Official Free Access Methods
30-Day Free Trial: Every new EZVIZ camera purchase typically includes a 30-day free trial of CloudPlay. This trial is per camera and allows you to experience automated motion-triggered recording and sharing features before committing.
Free Basic Services: The EZVIZ App provides free basic cloud services for controlling your devices and viewing live feeds from a single dashboard anytime, anywhere.
Local Storage Alternative: You do not strictly need a subscription to use your camera. Most models support microSD cards (up to 256GB or 512GB depending on the model) for local storage, which eliminates the need for a cloud activation code entirely. How to Activate a Cloud Card
If you have received a physical or digital activation card (often given during promotions or bundled with specific kits), follow these steps to redeem it: Open the EZVIZ App and log in to your account. Select the specific camera you want to activate. Tap on CloudPlay on the main device screen. Ezviz Cloud Activation Code Free
Tap the three dots in the top right corner to manage settings.
Select "Enter Card Activation Code" or "Cloud Card Activation".
Carefully enter the 16-digit code without spaces and tap Activate Now.
Important Distinction: Activation Code vs. Verification Code While there isn't a permanent "universal" free activation
It is easy to confuse these two different 6-character codes:
Verification Code: A 6-digit capital letter code found on the device label (sticker) on the back or bottom of your camera. This is used for initial setup, device sharing, and image decryption, not for free cloud storage.
Activation Code: A longer alphanumeric code (usually 16 digits) provided on a "Cloud Card" used specifically to redeem a paid or promotional subscription plan. EZVIZ CloudPlay - Cloud Service Platform
Your camera continues to work for live viewing and local SD recording. Cloud video history becomes inaccessible unless you subscribe or redeem a new code. How it works: Insert a formatted MicroSD card
Occasionally, Ezviz distributes free cloud codes through official social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram contests). Follow Ezviz’s official accounts and join their newsletter to catch these limited-time offers.
This is the #1 alternative. Most Ezviz cameras (C1C, C3W, C6N, etc.) have a slot for a MicroSD card (up to 256GB).
Cost: A 64GB MicroSD card costs about $10–$15. After purchase, it is free forever.
Ezviz realized users hate subscriptions. For some legacy camera models (C1C, C2C, C3W, etc.), they offer a Lifetime Basic Plan for a one-time fee.
This is the closest thing to a "free activation code" because you pay once and never again.
